Who Is Travel & Transport Assistance For?
Travel & Transport Assistance is suitable for NDIS participants who require support to travel due to disability, reduced mobility, or safety concerns.
Supports may be appropriate for participants who:
- Need assistance to attend medical or therapy appointments
- Require support to access community or social activities
- Have difficulty using public transport independently
- Need supervised or assisted travel
- Have Assist Travel and Transport funded in their NDIS plan
Supports can be provided on a short-term or ongoing basis, depending on individual needs and funding.
